When an order is assigned, the driver will progress through 6 steps:
Accept: This is an acknowledgement of the order by the driver indicating that they see the driver and intend to deliver the order.
Start Pickup: Drivers should start the pickup once they are on their way to the restaurant. As previously mentioned, a driver may be assigned a second order while they are finishing a first order, and accept the second but wait to start the pick up on the newest order. It is also important for drivers to understand that once the pick up is started, that this initiates the order placement process with the restaurant. If a start pick up initiate too early, this could result in cold food sitting at the restaurant.
Arrived: This is for arriving at the restaurant for the order pickup.
Complete PickUp: Do not rush through the arrived status. Wait to mark complete pickup until the food in hand. This status will trigger a notification to the customer that their food is on the way with a live tracking view.
Arrived: This is for arriving at the customer's address to complete the delivery. This step will trigger a text notification to the customer that their driver has arrived and they should head to meet their driver
Completed Drop Off: Once the food has been delivered to the customer, can mark the order as completed.
Towards the top of this screen, you will find the scheduled time that the order is due, where the order is going, and where to pick up from.
The items below are the order items. Be sure to look over the order on the app and ensure that the restaurant has provided all items for the order.
